Description
WHITE SANDSTONE BOWL WITH BLACK SLIP BY ALINE MONOD
In the workshop Aline Monod touches, looks, turns, puts engobe, enamels or smokes porcelain and stoneware fired at 1280 °. From these gestures are born pieces of rare poetry where earth and wood are sometimes mingled.
The ceramist loves the forest. It is while strolling that she meets these branches that inspire her.
Their shape will become the starting point for a spoon, teapot or pitcher.
But, here, it is a white sandstone bowl covered with a thick black slip that we present.
Its traditional flared shape makes it an everyday object or a timeless decoration.
To look at or bring to life, Aline’s everyday objects will find their place in your interior.
