Description
LAPIS LAZULI AND TURQUOISE VERMEIL RING BY O. AMIN
The designer O. Amin has long settled in Idar-Oberstein in western Germany.
This city, since the Middle Ages, is linked to the production and trade of fine or precious stones.
It is thanks to the numerous deposits of agathe or jasper that Idar-Oberstein has specialized in the cutting and polishing of gemstones.
Those found on O. Amin’s jewelry are not always local (Afghanistan, United States, Madagascar, Brazil …).
He cuts and mounts them in his workshop.
This vermeil, lapis and turquoise ring seems to have come out of archaeological excavations, however it is surprisingly modern. We love!
