Description

CERAMIC AND GLASS “FACE DE VERRES” BY THIBAUT RENOULET

After the Applied Arts in Saint-Etienne and a diploma in Product Design in 2012, Thibaut chooses to express himself through drawing and painting.

But his desire to find a new medium in which to express himself led him to turn to ceramics.

It was the encounter with the ceramist Florence Bruyas that made him discover this new artistic universe.

In 2016, Thibaut definitely put his hands in the clay by entering the École Duperré.

Following this new diploma of Métiers d’Art, option artisanal ceramics, he settled in the Paris region where he currently creates.

His creations are characterized by raw materials, slightly earthy colors, enamels applied in a way similar to painting.

He puts his enamels by touches on the sandstone which remains visible.

As on this ceramic shard “Le Baigneur”, his expressionist design blends into the material and becomes one with the sculpture.
