LINEN PAPER LAMP “NEPAL” BY PAPIER À ÊTRES
Sophie Mouton-Perrat and Frédéric Guibrunet have united their know-how about ten years ago.
Each in his own way works this noble material. They sculpt, fold, structure the linen paper chosen for its strength, the soft and warm light that it diffuses.
The result: objects of infinite grace. All in poetry, the light sculptures that these two artists create transport you into a dreamlike universe in which you would like to lose yourself.
The linen paper lamp that we present here is a piece specially designed for the Galerie Kara.
The selection of objects from Nepal that the gallery showcases has inspired Sophie and Frédéric. They chose to work on the architectural forms that can be found in this distant country and have wonderfully expressed the refinement of it.
