PORCELAIN AND ROCK CRYSTAL NECKLACE. DESIGNED BY CLAIRE MARFISI
In October 2017, the second edition of the Parcours Bijoux was held in Paris.
This event, during exhibitions, promotes contemporary jewelry by presenting projects that lead to a reflection on the body and adornment.
On this occasion and in collaboration with the Galerie Kara, Claire Marfisi, jeweler ceramist, chose to create a collection of exclusive jewelry where fine and ornamental stones are combined with ceramics, porcelain and stoneware. Transparency is combined with opaque and light combines with texture.
The porcelain and rock crystal necklace presented here is an example of this research. These delicate and frosty stones go along so well with their velvety porcelain counterparts.
The jewel is delicate, it is precious, it adorns.
